Eating in Hong Kong: Wing Hop Sing

This is a small eatery, recommended by Craig Au Yeung. It was recommended in the 50 must try foods in Hong Kong. We came here for a breakfast since the restaurant opens at 6:00 am.

There are many interesting items on the menu that we would like to try. But we cannot finish all of them for sure. Therefore, we decided to order a claypot rice with beef & egg, which is a signature dish and a corned beef & egg sandwish.

The sandwich is freshly made. It is so tasty.

The claypot rice with beef comes with a raw egg on top. It you don't like raw egg, you can stir it very quick with your chopsticks until it blends with the rice underneath. Since the claypot is still hot, this is another way to cook your egg.

IMHO, a little bit of soy sauce and a dash of chilli oil made this dish more flavorful.

The total bill for the whole meal is less than 90 HKD.
